Mann Bracken Ordered To Cease Collections

Mann Bracken, one of the largest collection law firms in the country is shutting down. While no official bankruptcy filing has been made many States are starting to take aggressive action against the collection firm.

The Maryland District Court Chief Judge has ordered that thousands of collection lawsuits filed against consumers are to be dismissed. This is a huge victory for consumers that have to tolerate massive junk debt buying by firms such as Encore/Midland and are forced into court to defend on old credit card debts that cannot be proved.
